Meet Dora. She is here to tell you about our Jandals with arch support that mould to your feet. In 2018 she chewed 2 pairs of our Slappa's Thongs. On holiday in Brisbane we went looking for new Slappa's to replace our Dora destroyed Jandals. We found Narelle and had a discussion about how great these jandals are and we decided that we needed to bring them home to New Zealanders. Ever since we have been enjoying spreading Slappa's Thongs throughout New Zealand.
We love taking our jandals to Markets when we can and really enjoy showcasing Slappa's to new and old customers alike. We have customers who are what we call repeat offenders, they keep coming back for more.

So glad I was introduced to Slappa jandals via one of my waka team mates. Being a prior Havianna fan, I'd previously walked past the Slappas stand at the Waka Ama nationals. Last Nats I ended up purchasing 4 pairs for myself and my family and since then, I've purchased another two. I not only paddle with my slappas on in the waka, I wear them all through Summer for both sports and day to day as they're extremely comfortable and look great!
I get good grip from these in the waka, but also there are sharp rocks where we load, which due to the slappas solid thick soles, I no longer get sore feet from. The other absolute bonus is these jandals are so hard-wearing and manufactured as one-piece, so I never have to worry about the strap constantly snapping off and having to purchase further pairs. More recently, these have also been my go-to's whilst touring Europe in their super hot climate, where I've averaged 4 hours walking a day!
Thanks Jenny - these have truly been a God-send.

Saw Jenny and the Slappas stall at Takapuna Sunday market and it was the colours and designs that attached me first. They felt great from the first time I tried them on. As Jenny says they mould to your feet and they only get more comfortable with more wear.
I’d wear my jandals every day if I could, but South Canterbury weather makes it a little chilly in the winter months to go sockless. They are never anything less than super comfortable and great to wear out on the beach, whilst shopping or out to dinner. Because they are softer than a lot of jandals they don’t have that “flip flop” sound as you walk. Also I’ve never had smelly feet, blisters or any foot problems whilst wearing them. I’m sure Slappas can recite chapter and verse as to their antibacterial properties, but from a layman’s standpoint whatever it is, it works!
The customer service and attention to details for Jenny makes buying Slappas a pleasure. I’m now on my 3rd pair of them, the longevity is excellent. Looking forward to buying my next pair, but there’s a lot more miles and adventures left in my current pair yet!
